Cargo - First Swiss SciFi

December 2007 until July 2009, I worked for the first MoviePicture SciFi produced in Switzerland. My role was the VFX- and postproduction supervisor. It was kind of an adventure to everybody involved in this project which has taken more than 7 years from the early idea until the first screening in September 2009.

The movie is produced independently by AtlantisPictures. Directors: Ivan Engler and Ralph Etter

I was responsible for the pictures on set, the IT infrastructure, the artists (3D/2D), the pipeline and many other things during the production. My favorite work is still compositing. Here are some pictures.

I did most of the shots with Autodesk Toxik (now Maya Composit). I loved it - Sapphire is the plugin I used within almost every shot.
